Olivia Sage, LAc, DiplAc
Olivia earned her Masters Of Acupuncture degree from the Phoenix Institute for Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture (PIHMA). She is Board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and currently licensed to practice in the States of Arizona, Georgia and Tennessee.
A native of Germany, Olivia was strongly influenced by her mother’s interest in herbal and homeopathic medicine. Continuing the legacy, she opened and operated SOUVIA, a tea and herb specialty retail store/cafe in Phoenix, AZ. For thirteen years she created a community of loyal tea and herb enthusiasts and shared her passion for holistic health in seminars and work
In addition to acupuncture, Olivia uses adjunct modalities, such as cupping, body work (Tui Na), nutritional and herbal counseling, as well as nutritional testing. She is certified in cosmetic acupuncture and trained in NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association), a protocol approved and widely used to improve and maintain the positive outcomes of substance abuse treatments and PTSD.
Olivia is passionate about this medicine and dedicated to her patients’ health and wellness goals. She takes a holistic and integrative approach to healing always seeking the best possible outcomes for her patients.
Next to muscular skeletal and neurological conditions, her special interests are in treating gastro-intestinal, auto-immune, gynecological, as well as emotional conditions and detoxification.
More recently, she specialized in cosmetic acupuncture and facial rejuvenation, using treatment protocols based on classical Chinese medicine and modern science.
When she is not needling patients or concocting her own tea blends and tinctures, Olivia loves to hike, sing and travel the world.
