Scott C. Anderson, MS. Dipl.Ac., Dipl.CH., L.Ac. has 24 years of experience in providing acupuncture and dispensing Chinese herbal medicine in the greater Phoenix area.
In 2003, Scott earned a Masters degree from Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture (PIHMA). Scott served as PIHMA Herbal Pharmacy Manager for 5 years. Additionally, he taught at PIHMA for 18 years presenting courses of study in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. He also served as Chinese Herbal Studies Chairperson for 8 years, as well as Clinical Supervisor for 18 years. During his time at PIHMA he also appeared on local TV segments demonstrating Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine on volunteer patients. Scott also taught Acupuncture at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences (Sonoran University of Health Sciences) in Tempe and also TCM theory at Central Arizona College.
Scott also was employed at Banner University Hospital as an Eastern Medicine Practitioner and representative of ECHO/Wellness & Prevention for 23 years providing health care and insights with Acupuncture and utilizing Chinese Herbal Medicine for health benefits to health care workers and their families.
Over the years Scott has addressed many different health conditions and has treated a wide variety of patients seeking care with acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Examples of conditions he has treated are: joint pain, back pain, acute or chronic coughing, wheezing or difficulty breathing, sneezing and/or sinus issues, stomach or digestive issues, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, recurring headaches and help with managing chronic conditions, issues with fertility.
Scott is an Arizona native, born in Globe. He enjoys hiking, playing pickleball, cooking and taking road trips. He is married and has two adult sons.
